You can sponsor during your golf team registration or right now.  The earlier you sponsor, the more publicity you will get.  See below for sponsorship levels and our sponsors.

  • Silver – $100 – gets you a color sign at a tee box of one of the holes
  • Gold – $250 – also gets your name on a sponsorship list at the prize table and sponsors a pin event
  • Platinum – $750 – (Maximum of 3) also gets your name at the registration table, sponsors the main door prizes AND ALLOWS FOR SETTING UP AT A TEE BOX TO GREET GOLFERS ALL DAY

Communication is the one skill we use every day, in every environment, and in every situation. Yet, we’ve all experienced the fallouts of bad communication or the lack of communication. Alan will help us identify three common obstacles to effective communication. Once we are aware of them, we can take constructive steps to overcome them. These obstacles are: Maturity in the moment, personality styles and trait differences, and the tendency to be vague and make attitude assumptions.

REGISTRATION: ASHRAE Iowa Chapter October Meeting – Student Night

PROGRAM:

You are invited to the ASHRAE Iowa Chapter Student Night on Wednesday October 13th at the Ames New High School.

Site address is 1801 Ridgewood Ave, Ames, IA 50010. Meet at the Story Construction Office Trailers (parking available in paved lots SE of trailers).

Panel Discussion (weather dependent) to begin at 4:00PM on the decked area outside the Story Construction Office Trailers.

Ames New High School Project Tour to begin at 5:00 PM led by Dean McCormick with Story Construction and Shon Smith with ACI Mechanical.

Please bring your own PPE for the tour including long pants, closed toe hard sole shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, and masks. Masks are required for all attendees.

Dinner and drinks to follow at Jethro’s BBQ at 1301 Buckeye Ave, Ames, IA 50010. Student chapter scholarship will be presented and there will be updates from the Membership Promotion and Research Promotion chairs.

2021 1st Annual – Summer Send-Off Disc Golf Tournament

Grab your discs and join us for the YEA Sponsored Summer Send-Off at the Ewing Disc Golf Course. Game will be played as a 2-person team, best shot. Create your own team, or join with someone at the course. Disc golfers of all levels are welcome. Drinks available throughout, food and prizes to follow. *Extra discs will be available

The event sponsorship’s available are below:

Drink Sponsorship (Max of 3, estimate drinks for 30 frolfers): Each drink sponsor can set up a table/tent at a disc golf hole and hand out drinks to frolfers. If you would like to sponsor the event but don’t have people to hand out drinks, ASHRAE can arrange a volunteer to man the table

Prize Sponsorship (Max of 1): The prize sponsor does not need to be physically present during the event.

Food Sponsorship (Max of 1): The food sponsor does not need to be physically present during the event.
