Kent Mosher was born on April 6, 1936 in Milo, IA. He graduated from Knoxville High School and attended the University of Iowa before transferring to Iowa State University, where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering.
Kent began work with Anheuser Busch in St. Louis, but moved back to Iowa around 1963 and was employed as a mechanical engineer with Stevenson, Flanagan & Schilling. He later worked as an engineer, and then as company president, for the Stroh Corporation.
Kent started several of his own companies, including Allied Mechanical and finally Mosher Engineering Company, where he continued to work as a consulting engineer even after his 2001 retirement party. He passed away on August 28, 2009.
