The Marshalltown, IA company founded by this Chapter President still goes by the name of R.S. Stover. Mr. Stover was born on August 31, 1909 in Missouri, and graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Mining Engineering. Later he worked for Fisher Governor Company in Marshalltown before starting his own company in 1943. He was involved with the Iowa Chapter of Heating and Ventilating Engineers, the Central Iowa Section of American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Rotary Club, and served on the Marshalltown city council.
